I’ve recently be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and am seeking a support group in the area. I live in Boulder, CO. Quick summary of diagnosis:
– PSA 4.4 in Feb’25
– MRI done, biopsy done, results received Mar’25
– Gleason 4+3, unfavorable intermediate, bilateral, 14 of 19 positive samples
– PSMA PET scan showed no cancer outside of the prostate
– Decipher score of 0.67
– have consulted with radiation oncologists at RMCC in Boulder, UCHealth in Denver, Calaway-Young Cancer Center in Glenwood Springs, University of Kansas, Mayo Clinic in Phoenix.
– have consulted with urologists at BCH in Boulder, UCHealth in Denver, Mayo Clinic in Phoenix
– currently, I’m leaning towards radiation treatment in Glenwood Springs with Dr. Rossi, who is recommending ADT + 15 treatments of IMRT + 1 treatment of HDR brachytherapy
